Fire Department Divisions
Within the Fire Department we have a Fire Service and an EMS Service, each commanded by a full-time Chief.
Fire Service
Except for five Firefighter/EMTs and the Chief, all fire personnel are on-call paid. Currently, the department operates with one Assistant Fire Chief, one Battalion Chief, one Captain, four Lieutenants, eighteen Firefighters, two Dispatchers and three Fire Police. You can view a

Emergency Medical Service
All personnel are on-call paid. Primary medical care is provided by these responders until a transporting ambulance arrives. Our primary ambulance is dispatched from Saint Michael’s College. Emergency Medical Services are staffed with one Captain, two Lieutenants, four EMTs, and ten FF-EMTs. We operate two rescue vehicles. Additionally, we have a snowmobile and ATV along with a rescue sled for off-road rescues and transportation.
