The Town of Williston is located within Chittenden County in the state of Vermont. We are positioned between Burlington, VT, and the Green Mountains.
Our population is approaching 10,000 and increases to approximately 18,000 during the day. Williston has grown rapidly during the past ten years. It is now the home to many businesses, box stores, restaurants, two malls and residential structures of all types.
The Fire Department provides an Ambulance Transport Service and Fire Suppression Services as well as other Emergency Services.

Fire Safety Tips
Keep cooking areas clear of combustibles and wear short or tight-fitting sleeves when you cook. Keep the handles of your pots turned inward so they do not over-hang the stove. If grease catches fire, carefully slide a lid over the pan and smother the flames, then turn off the burner. |
