Fire Service

Except for five Firefighter/EMTs and the Chief, all fire personnel are on-call paid. Currently, the department operates with one Assistant Fire Chief, one Battalion Chief, one Captain, one Lieutenant, three Shift Officers, eighteen Firefighters, two Dispatchers and three Fire Police. Emergency Medical Service

All personnel are on-call paid. Primary medical care is provided by these responders until a transporting ambulance arrives. Our primary ambulance is dispatched from Saint Michael’s College. Emergency Medical Services are staffed with one Lieutenant, and eighteen EMTs. We operate two rescue vehicles. Additionally, we have a snowmobile and ATV along with a rescue sled for off-road rescues and transportation.
